Moving Intelligence, Dutch market leader for GPS-based anti-theft solutions, fleet management systems and trip logging has acquired Europetrack and SlimmGPS, both active in providing fleet management and trip logging services.
New acquisitions for the Mi Group
After expansion to Germany and Great Britain, it was time to solidify our homebase in the Netherlands with two transactions specialized in fleet management and trip logging. According to Patrick Horst, CEO of Moving Intelligence: “Traditionally, we have a larger market share in security compared to fleet management in the Netherlands. The acquisition of two strong brands complements our position in fleet management as well as our service offering. Increase in platform users
The acquisition of EuropeTrack and SlimmGPS adds more than 20,000 connected units, thereby accelerating the ambition of Moving Intelligence to become Europe’s market leader in GPS-based SaaS solutions. It is the fourth and fifth deal of its kind after Moving Intelligence entered into a strategic partnership with Volpi Capital and Surmount Ventures in 2020.
